Summary Description Reporting to a senior real estate attorney, the Legal Analyst - Real Estate provides critical transactional and portfolio support to the Real Estate Legal team. This role supports real estate leasing, acquisitions, development, portfolio management, and administrative legal processes by preparing execution materials, drafting routine documents, managing intake and key‑date tracking, and partnering closely with internal business stakeholders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across the real estate portfolio.Job Duties & Responsibilities Document Execution & Transaction Support:
Review real estate documents (leases, amendments, purchase agreements, SNDAs, estoppels, and related instruments) prior to execution to confirm consistency with approved deal terms, templates, and internal approvals. Partner with in-house and external attorneys to ensure appropriate revisions are made to accommodate review feedback and, where appropriate, assist in negotiation. Prepare Material Terms Summaries and execution packages for attorney review, including coordination of supporting materials (e.g., exhibits, budgets, pro forma). Coordinate signature processes, distribution of executed documents, and post‑execution filing and recording, as applicable. Maintain orderly deal files and ensure execution hygiene and version control.Drafting of Routine Real Estate Documents:
Draft routine real estate documents for attorney review, including: Lease amendments and renewals Notices (renewal, termination, default, informational) Waivers, memoranda, SNDA's, simple license agreements, and other ancillary documents Identify non‑standard terms or deviations from templates and proactively escalate for attorney guidance.Portfolio Monitoring, Intake & Key Date Support:
Support real estate intake processes by assisting with matter setup, document collection, and initial issue spotting. Partner with Legal Operations and Real Estate teams to: Track critical dates (options, renewals, notices, milestones) Monitor incoming correspondence and route matters appropriately Assist with periodic audits of portfolio data for accuracy and completeness.Legal Invoicing, Reporting & Coordination:
Assist attorneys and Legal Operations with: Outside counsel invoice review and tracking Budget and accrual support Matter status updates and dashboard inputs Support reporting and data collection associated with deal volume, cycle time, and workload tracking.Property Due Diligence:
Review, understand and discuss due diligence materials for existing and potential properties (such as title, survey, REA's, environmental, use restrictions) and draft the exhibit package for applicable real estate documents. M eetings &Cross-Functional Coordination:
Attend selected business meetings to support legal preparation, gather factual information, and assist with follow‑ups. Coordinate with Real Estate, Construction, Facilities, Finance, and external counsel as directed by supervising attorneys.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Finance, or related field preferred 3 - 5 years Law firm or corporate legal department experience, specific to real estate preferred Professional License and/or Specialized Training (List requirements if applicable) Pennsylvania Notary Paralegal Certification PreferredVIRTUAL REQUIREMENTS
