Company Description Wade, Goldstein, Landau & Abruzzo, P.C. is a boutique healthcare law firm in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. We have established practices in Legal and Regulatory Compliance, Payor Contracting, Business Transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Estate Planning and Estate and Trust Administration. As an employer, we pride ourselves on fostering a pleasant workplace with a strong sense of community. We are looking for a dedicated and highly organized individual to join our team as an Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to our attorneys, managing the daily operations of our office, and serving as a professional point of contact for our clients. A successful candidate must be detail-oriented, responsible, and a self-starter.
Responsibilities:
Administrative & Legal Support:
Assist attorneys with document preparation, including proofreading, editing, and comparing legal documents.
Client Coordination:
Manage new client intake processes, perform conflict checks, and maintain organized digital and physical client files.
Billing & Financial Assistance:
Oversee the monthly billing cycle, including the preparation of prebills, and assist with recording client payments and making bank deposits.
Office Management:
Ensure the smooth operation of the office by managing supplies, handling mail and shipping, and coordinating firm events or conferences.
Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls and communications, providing professional assistance to clients and external partners.
Facilities & Security:
Monitor office building issues and assist with the administration of office security protocols.
Notary Services:
Perform notarizations for legal documents as needed.
Job Description:
This position is available as either a Full-Time or Part-Time role. We offer a hybrid working schedule that allows for remote work, provided the candidate is in the office for a minimum of two assigned days per week.
Pay:
Flexible based on experience, education and duties. Salary based on an hourly range of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
Benefits:
No benefits for part-time employment; full-time employment includes health/dental/vision insurance and participation in 401(k).
Qualifications:
No prior experience is required, but experience working as an Administrator is a plus and experience working in a law firm is preferred. Strong organizational, scheduling, and record-keeping skills Proficiency in administrative support, document management, and general office tasks Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required. Must currently be a Notary Public or be willing to obtain certification upon hire.
