POSITION

Job Overview The ARC Resource Specialist (Litigation Legal Secretary) virtually supports attorneys in delivering the highest level of service to internal and external clients. As a contributing team member, the ARC Resource Specialist, is proactive in balancing multiple work demands, taking personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of their own and the team's work product, and maintaining client and firm confidentiality. The ARC Resource Specialist knows who the attorneys are, their personal preferences and work styles. This role has a hybrid working arrangement. Potential candidates must live within commuting distance the Philadelphia office to be onsite 4 days per week. In this role, you will report to the Director of Support Services. Essential Functions Create, edit, format and proofread documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Prepare legal documents for court filing and electronic filing. Promptly respond to attorney requests via written, verbal or electronic communication. Effectively and efficiently manage work and information requests, including document management, scheduling and coordination of firm resources. Help attorneys and team members new technology to improve efficiency and quality of work product. Hands-off work with detailed instructions to team members to prevent any compromises in work product. Smoothly handle multiple demands and shifting priorities across all firm offices. Maintain Extranet data and FTP sites for attorneys and clients. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Work additional hours as needed to fulfill job requirements. The firm may modify and amend any job description at any time in its sole discretion. Skills/Qualifications 7+ years of legal secretarial and customer service experience. Notary Public preferred. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to develop positive working relationships (in-person and virtually). Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks with effective organizational skills. Proven problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Unquestioned integrity and professionalism. Ability to communicate respectfully. Ability to provide support to attorneys virtually. Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate results. Ability to process and receive detailed instructions and information through oral and written communication. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). General Expectations Promote positive work habits, including effective and timely communication, teamwork, and demonstrating respect for colleagues. Contribute to providing the highest quality of service to internal and external clients. Take appropriate initiative and ownership of job responsibilities while ensuring the assignments/job duties are performed successfully and on time. Understand and abide by firm policies and embrace firm values. Ability to maintain regular attendance and work regularly scheduled hours. Ability to sit for long periods of time, type, and handle light lifting (files, copy paper, etc.) in a professional office environment. policies and safety measures. Compensation The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000. Actual salaries will depend on a candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, and skillset. The salary range listed is just one component of Blank Rome's total compensation package for employees. Other monetary rewards include annual discretionary bonuses based on performance and profit-sharing contributions based on eligibility and firm profitability.
