Job Description

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Clerk/Administrator This position works directly with the Chapter 13 Trustee and will be responsible for handling various tasks throughout the life cycle of a Chapter 13 bankruptcy case. The job involves intense computer work and data entry. The individual chosen for this position will handle official court records, ensuring compliance with our guidelines. Additionally, office administration office duties will be part of the position, which includes preparation of a yearly budget, paying accounts receivables, monitoring payroll, and financial analysis. Applicant must pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
Core Skills & Knowledge Needed:
  • Must be a fast learner
  • Able to multitask and stay on task with little supervision.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills applying logic to situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook) and a case management system designed for bankruptcy.
  • Ability to understand, learn, and apply complex rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage personnel with empathy and clarity.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a consistent manner

Salary:
Starting salary excluding benefits: $55K
  • 65K depending on experience
