Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge in formatting briefs, pleadings and other litigation documents Knowledge of e-filings and New York and Federal Court procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to deal courteously and effectively with others Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions Ability to work core business hours with flexibility for overtime, as required Personable, professional, detailed-oriented and a problem solver Able to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to work independently on several projects at one timeQualifications & Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of four (4) years of legal secretarial experience in a law firm environment working with multiple attorneys required Knowledge of and experience working in Securities Litigation and Enforcement preferred Knowledge of basics Bankruptcy Litigation preferred Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlinesComputer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in the following software: Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Document Management (iManage) experience a plusCompensation Range:
