We are looking for someone organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting attorneys in a busy legal office environment. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience and be able to handle a variety of administrative and litigation-support tasks professionally and accurately.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Preparing, editing, and formatting pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents Filing documents with state and federal courts, including electronic filing Maintaining attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial dates Communicating with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files Assisting with discovery, document production, and case preparation Scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances Providing general administrative support to attorneys and staff Qualifications Prior law firm experience preferred Strong typing, proofreading, grammar, and organizational skills Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation deadlines Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe/PDF tools, and electronic filing systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Professional communication skills and a positive attitude Dependability, discretion, and attention to detail are essential Compensation and Benefits Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid time off, company paid health insurance, 401K with profit sharing, and other firm benefits.
