The Coral Springs, FL location is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Assistant to assist the attorneys with a variety of tasks. This role requires excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with the preparation of correspondences, form pleadings, basic motions and notices for attorney's review.
  • Manage and track all incoming mail and correspondence and notify the clients of the same.
  • Calendar deadlines, schedule hearings and mediations.
  • Request hourly fee approval from clients.
  • Prepare trial packages.
  • Coordinate with judges, opposing counsel, clients and other legal positions in case. Input and maintain case information in our case management system and client systems to reflect detailed and up-to-date statuses.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, vendors, court representatives and case parties to provide updates and gather necessary information. Desired skills and experience :
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Apps such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Foreclosure law or any civil law office experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate positively, clearly, professionally, and personably in both written and verbal communication channels.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
