Job Description

General Purpose The Associate Counsel Intern will support the Legal Department in various capacities, including but not limited to legal research, document review, and assisting with case preparation. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a corporate legal setting, providing a unique opportunity to understand the legal challenges and operations of a business. Essential Duties
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics as directed by the General Counsel or other attorneys within the department.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including contracts, memos, and correspondence.
  • Participate in the review of legal materials for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support the legal team in case preparation, including organizing case files and evidence.
  • Attend meetings and take notes as required.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the legal operations of the department.
Supervisory Requirements This position does not have any supervisory requirements. Qualification Education and/or Experience • Currently enrolled in an accredited law school. • Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated interest in corporate law. • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software. Language Skills Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Mathematical Skills High school level mathematics preferred. Reasoning Ability Provide accurate, detailed responses and build effective working relationships. Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders. Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidential and private personnel data. Physical Demands
