INTERVIEWS-No Zoom or Phone Interviews We are looking to hire a Business Office Medical Biller to join our Peoria Post Acute & Rehab family! This position supports the accounting functions of the facility in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the long-term care industry. •A Fingerprint Clearance Card is Required•
Compensation:
$17.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Full-Time Day Shift - 8:00am to 4:30pm
Some Essential Functions:
Reliability and able to communicate efficiently and effectively Implement and assist with the facility's accounting functions under the supervision of the Business Office Manager Assist department directors in the development and use of accounting policies and procedures, and establish a rapport in and between departments so that each can realize the importance of accurate reporting procedures Monitor and collect accounts receivables as assigned Perform functions of computer/data processor as necessary Develop and utilize computer reports and output as required Assist in the planning and implementation of changes in the accounting system Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary or appropriate

Must possess a cheerful personality and be able to work harmoniously with other personnel Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelines Experience with telephone etiquette Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with other personnel Will you pledge to live CAPLICO?
