Job Description

Our client, a leading global organization, is seeking a dedicated Medical Biller to join their team. As a Medical Biller, you will be part of the A/R Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • 2:30pm What's the Job?
Responsible for posting payments from insurance carriers (EOBs) and patients Balancing daily deposits and reconciling remittances to ensure accurate accounts receivable data Interpreting and accurately entering data from paper and electronic EOBs into the RMS Identifying, calculating, and applying contractual adjustments, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance based on payer contracts Resolving discrepancies between payment amounts and billed amounts while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines What's Needed? Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Accounts Receivable, and Clerical procedures Ability to interpret and process insurance EOBs accurately Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude What's in it for me?
