Bilingual Phone Operator/Medical Assitant

Job description: We are a busy Gastroenterology (GI) specialty office seeking an experienced and highly organized bilingual Medical Assistant / Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing high call volumes, and providing excellent patient service.

Requirements:

Valid State/Government Issued ID / Social Security Cart Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate BLS (Basic Life Support) Fully

vaccinated with booster. Responsibilities Answer and manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently Provide patients with clear instructions and information regarding procedures and visits Knowledge in medical terminology, GI specialty knowledge a plus Experience in escribing medication Coordinate with clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth daily operations Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and compassion Skills Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent phone ettiquette Strong organizational and planning skills
