The ideal candidate will have experience in both dental and medical billing, with a strong understanding of HMO and PPO plans, claim submission, and follow-up.

Responsibilities:

Submit dental and medical claims accurately and efficiently Work with HMO, PPO, and private insurance plans Trace and follow up on unpaid or denied claims Post payments and reconcile accounts Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues Verify patient benefits and coverage as needed Maintain accurate and organized billing records

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of dental billing experience (medical billing experience a plus) Strong knowledge of insurance verification, CDT/CPT codes, and claim processes Proficiency with dental software open dental Excellent communication and follow-up skills Ability to work independently and stay organized

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cross-coding for medical billing Familiarity with pre-authorizations and treatment planning coordination Bilingual is a plus
