This position is full-time with benefits available after completion of a 90-day new hire probation. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes;

• Recent completion of a Medical Billing certificate program
• Strong mathematical aptitude.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and general computer aptitude.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Bilingual a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide support to functions of the team including billing, collections and accounts receivable needs. Complete and monitor Medicare, Medicaid and insurance billings. Checking insurance eligibility. Reviewing clinical notes to ensure proper coding. Submitting claims electronically and via paper claims with supporting documentation. Resolving claims denials Answering patient and insurance billing questions. Supporting clinical staff members. Performs various collection actions including contacting patients by phone and responding to incoming billing phone calls. Seeking prior authorizations where needed. Timely follow up on outstanding patient balances and report delinquent accounts May assist with other billing related tasks on as needed basis.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
