Medical Biller

We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller with expertise in billing and insurance verifications. This is a full time position. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a thorough understanding of medical billing processes. Candidate must be self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently process and submit medical claims to insurance companies. Perform insurance verifications to ensure coverage and eligibility. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement. Maintain patient billing records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues. Stay updated with changes in insurance policies and billing regulations. Collaborate with other team members in the company on a daily/weekly basis and maintain a harmonious and productive environment. meet productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time goals while working remotely Payment posting. Assist with patient inquiries regarding problems/questions regarding their balances. Assisting the front office with phone calls and other duties.

Qualifications:

Medical billing experience Correctly perform insurance verifications and obtain authorizations Proficiency with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Strong understanding of

CPT, ICD-10

codes, and medical terminology. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Preferred:

- Dermatology experience preferred
