Job Description

Company Overview Coastal Autism Therapy Center is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism and related disorders. Our mission is to prioritize the needs of each individual while ensuring families feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey. Summary We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join our team in Pooler, Georgia. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional care by providing administrative support in a medical setting. Your efforts will help ensure that our clients receive the best possible service and care. Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling and appointments Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Assist with insurance verification and billing processes Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide excellent customer service to patients and families Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed Handle medical collections and coding accurately Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant or similar role Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and billing procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff Bilingual skills are a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Previous clinic or healthcare experience preferred Call-To-Action If you're ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with autism, we invite you to apply today and join our compassionate team at Coastal Autism Therapy Center!
