Assistant Manager Willis Knighton Health - 2.7 Shreveport, LA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Clinic experience Medical billing Full Job Description This candidate will need to be able to assist the Manager of Hematology/Oncology in almost every facet of the clinic manager's day-to-day duties. They will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, including team building, and assisting all staff in helping expedite urgent needs and/or deadlines. The candidate needs to be able to give of herself in many capacities, including helping fill in with front office duties, assisting with scheduling and reports, courier duties and composition of Excel spreadsheets. A background in medical billing/coding and at least several years of experience in a clinic setting is required, preferably in Meditech Expanse. The assistant manager will also back up the Clinic Manager while out of the office or in meetings; this will require the candidate to be able to take direction from all providers and follow-through. Positive interaction and constructive reinforcement with coworkers will be expected at all times, along with the utmost patient concern and customer service for this highly specialized clinic in the WK Cancer Center. QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate Ability to code diseases by use of
ICD-10 & CPT-4
Manuals Medical Billing knowledge Accounts Receivable/Collections a plus Professionalism Care and Concern for the patients, staff and physicians Team player with positive input
