Dermatology Medical Biller Dermatology Practice is seeking a Medical Biller We are a patient-focused private dermatology practice committed to providing top-tier medical and cosmetic dermatologic care. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Medical Biller to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursements, and outstanding service to our patients. Responsibilities Review, enter, and submit claims to insurance carriers accurately and in a timely manner Work with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes specific to dermatology procedures Verify insurance benefits and eligibility Post insurance and patient payments; follow up on unpaid claims and denials Handle appeals, re-submissions, and patient billing inquiries Maintain accurate billing records and documentation Communicate effectively with clinical staff and front office regarding coding and charge capture Stay current on billing regulations and insurance changes We are looking for a person who can work 20-40 hours per week. We have some flexibilities with work hours. We are open on Monday through Friday. Required Experience At least 1 year of experience in medical billing. Experience in dermatology or surgical specialty is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
