Podiatry Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Specialist Roseville, MI 48066 Full-time Full-time Experienced Podiatry Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Specialist An established fast-paced group podiatry practice is seeking a highly experienced Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Specialist with advanced expertise in podiatry billing, coding, and accounts receivable management. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who takes pride in maximizing collections, reducing denials, and improving overall revenue cycle performance in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of podiatry medical billing and revenue cycle operations Submit, track, and reconcile electronic insurance claims Analyze and resolve denied, delayed, and underpaid claims Perform aggressive A/R follow-up with commercial insurers, Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Comp, and Auto Ensure accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding specific to podiatric procedures Identify billing trends, coding discrepancies, and reimbursement opportunities Work closely with providers and administrative staff to improve workflow efficiency and collections Maintain compliance with current billing regulations and payer guidelines
Ideal Candidate:
3+ years of podiatry medical billing experience strongly preferred Proven success managing high-volume claims and complex denials Advanced knowledge of podiatry coding, modifiers, and surgical / wound care billing Strong understanding of Medicare reimbursement policies Experience with EMR/EHR systems and medical billing platforms Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving ability Self-motivated profession capable of working independently with minimal supervision
