This is an urgent opening for a motivated professional who has strong experience with motor vehicle accident (MVA/EVA) billing and physical therapy claims.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of physical therapy medical billing experience. Required experience with motor vehicle accident MVA claims. Proficient in TheraBill and WebPT. Experience with insurance verification, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and appeals. Strong understanding of commercial insurance, auto insurance, and workers' compensation billing is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
Submit and follow up on physical therapy insurance claims. Resolve claim denials and unpaid accounts. Post insurance and patient payments accurately. Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility. Maintain accurate patient billing records in TheraBill and WebPT. Communicate professionally with insurance companies, attorneys, and patients as needed.
