Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients, insurance providers, and the office staff to ensure seamless processing of dental insurance claims and benefits. Your expertise will help maximize patient coverage, streamline billing processes, and improve overall practice efficiency. Duties Review patient insurance information and verify coverage details Submit insurance claims promptly and correctly Ability to read EOB's and enter payments into software correctly Follow up on outstanding payments or denials to facilitate timely reimbursements Experience using Dentrix software Communicate effectively with insurance companies to clarify coverage questions or resolve claim issues Maintain comprehensive medical records, ensuring all documentation aligns with billing and coding standards Conduct medical collections by following up on unpaid claims or patient balances while adhering to privacy regulations Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or insurance coordination within a dental or healthcare setting Ability to interpret insurance policies and explain coverage details clearly to patients Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in coding and documentation Knowledge of medical collection procedures and compliance standards
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
