Overview Part-Time Medical Biller / Administrative Assistant Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional Part-Time Medical Biller / Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing, insurance verification, claims processing, electronic health records (EHR), and healthcare administrative support. This role is essential in maintaining efficient office operations, ensuring accurate billing practices, and delivering exceptional service to clients, providers, and insurance carriers. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and professionalism. Flexibility with hours and days as needed to support office operations across two locations is essential. Duties Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records Managing and tracking copays within the EHR system Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation, editing, and communication Provide customer service support by addressing inquiries via phone, email, or in person Organize and maintain OneDrive structure and shared documents Assist with onboarding new employees and other staff Maintain professionalism with phone etiquette and ensure timely response to all communications Support client file management to ensure compliance and accessibility Payroll Support Qualifications Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications Excellent computer literacy and typing skills for efficient document processing Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in customer service or customer support roles is advantageous Knowledge of front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and office management best practices Attention to detail with proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of documents and communications Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines This position is integral to maintaining efficient office operations while providing exceptional support to staff and clients.
