Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Medical Billing and Credentialing professional to lead our revenue cycle and provider enrollment operations for out client in Levittown, NY. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of insurance claims management and credentialing workflows. While not required, prior experience within an Otolaryngology practice is highly preferred. CPB and CPC Certificates a huge plus. High SchoolResponsibilities Oversee and assist with billing operations, including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up Support billing staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing with commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid Monitor claim denials and implement strategies to improve reimbursement and reduce A/R days Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) Generate and analyze reports on revenue cycle performance and KPIs Serve as a liaison between providers, payers, and internal staff
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in medical billing and credentialing Experience in otolaryngology or a surgical specialty strongly preferred Knowledge of insurance guidelines, claims processing, and denial management Knowledge of credentialing platforms such as CAQH and PECOS Proficiency in EHR/Practice Management systems
Preferred Certifications:
Certified Professional Biller (CPB) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Credentialing-related certifications (a plus)Skills
