Full Job Description Medical Equipment Associate HOURS:

8:30AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday; occasional Saturdays 9:00am to 1:00pm

PAY RATE

$18-$21/HR DOE Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with a leading company in Syracuse, NY to find a Medical Equipment Associate to join their team! As a Medical Equipment Associate , you will be assisting customers to select medical equipment for their home healthcare needs. Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and adhere to all company policies regarding confidentiality and HIPAA Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization for equipment or supplies. Process orders and maintain inventory levels for Wound Care, Orthotic, Nebulizer, and other medical supplies. Coordinate deliveries and set up of equipment Answer incoming calls and be able to manage multiple lines when needed Dispense orders and items in accordance with patient paperwork Inventory management Operate a POS system Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED preferred Strong computer and phone skills Understanding of medical terminology and insurance coverage criteria Excellent customer service skills, including professional telephone etiquette Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality Applicants must follow the Sapphire Recruitment employment guidelines and be willing to comply with our drug screening policy and other pre-employment requirements .
