Job Description
About the Opportunity HR Mango is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire an experienced EMC Medical Biller . This position is responsible for reviewing, correcting, and submitting medical claims while ensuring compliance with payer requirements and timely filing deadlines. Key Responsibilities Review, correct, and bill encounters using RCx Rules, Waystar, and NextGen. Run charge edits, pre-bill reports, and verify coding and billing accuracy. Submit and monitor EDI claim files through Waystar and resolve rejections promptly. Update secondary claims with primary EOB information. Maintain provider records and process referring physician requests. Correct billing errors, create clean claims, and manage claim adjustments as needed. Respond to office inquiries and billing tasks through NextGen. Qualifications Medical billing experience required. Experience with revenue cycle management, claims processing, and insurance billing procedures. Familiarity with EDI claim submission and clearinghouse processes preferred. Experience with NextGen, Waystar, and/or RCx Rules is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Target Candidate Background Candidates should come from physician practices, medical billing companies, hospitals, healthcare systems, insurance follow-up teams, or healthcare collections departments. Medical billing experience is required. Candidates with backgrounds limited to Chiropractic, Dental, or Vision billing will not be considered.
