$20-$21/hour Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Biller to join a busy healthcare team in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical billing processes, insurance verification, claims management, and patient account resolution. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment. Primary Responsibilities Submit and process insurance claims accurately and timely Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits Review and follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims Post insurance and patient payments into the billing system Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and payment discrepancies Work patient accounts and assist with payment collections when needed Maintain accurate billing records and documentation Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all billing regulations Collaborate with office staff to resolve billing and coding issues Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Previous medical billing experience required Knowledge of insurance claims, EOBs, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and billing procedures preferred Experience working with EMR/EHR and billing software systems Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems Preferred Qualifications Experience in a specialty medical office preferred Familiarity with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid billing Medical billing certification is a plus
