Duties Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government programs. Review and verify patient information, including insurance coverage and eligibility. Utilize ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG coding systems to accurately code diagnoses and procedures. Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Follow up on unpaid claims and manage the medical collection process. Communicate effectively with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment options. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any discrepancies in billing or coding. Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding standards. Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or related fields. Familiarity with medical records management and the healthcare reimbursement process. Knowledge of
