Job Description

Purpose:
The ROI Processor is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing all release of information (ROI) medical record requests while maintaining the highest level of patient confidentiality. •This is a 100% remote position•
Remote Orientation:
Friday, July 24th.
Remote Training hours:
7:30am-4pm Monday-Friday starting on July 27th.
Regular Remote hours:
7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm
Monday-Friday Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process all medical records requests in primary account whether standard or audit request. Responsible for accurately verifying all data as it is listed on the medical record release Communicate any issues regarding the account to their direct report Maintain up to date knowledge of all accounts to ensure accurate processing. Maintain daily production numbers Responsible for keeping account current to ensure we remain compliant Must comply with our company privacy and security policies as well as all federally mandated HIPAA regulations. Required to attend mandatory meetings and trainings, work scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and perform other duties as assigned per business needs.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following: Must be at least 18 years of age. Able to read, write and speak English. Able to maintain confidential information. Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances. High school diploma, or equivalent. 2 years of medical record processing experience. Knowledge of medical terminology. Basic proficiency in navigating within an Electronic Health Record (EHR system).
