Medical Coder and Biller

```Overview``` We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. If you have experience in medical billing and coding, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you. ```Responsibilities```

• Review and analyze medical documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing
• Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, ICD-9) to diagnoses and procedures
• Submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
• Process payments from insurance companies and patients
• Stay updated on industry changes, regulations, and best practices related to medical billing ```Experience```
• Previous experience in medical billing is required. Prefer experience with primary care and interventional pain management billing.
• Proficient in using medical billing systems and software
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding guidelines
• Strong understanding of medical records management and documentation
• Experience with medical collections and workman's compensation is a plus
• Experience billing with EClinical works is required.
