Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Collector/Front Desk Supervisor to join our medical office. In this role, you will oversee the billing collection process while managing front desk operations, ensuring smooth patient interactions, accurate medical record handling, and efficient financial transactions. Your approach will help drive revenue recovery, enhance patient satisfaction, and maintain organized medical records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine leadership with specialized medical billing expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Manage daily front desk operations Train and support front desk tam members Answer phones and assist patients Oversee the collection of outstanding payments by contacting patients via phone or written correspondence, ensuring timely resolution of overdue accounts Verify insurance information and assist patients with billing questions, explaining procedures clearly and positively Ensure accurate coding of medical procedures ICD-10 codes to facilitate proper billing and reimbursement Review medical records for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all documentation aligns with billing requirements and coding standards Collaborate with medical staff to update EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems efficiently Maintain detailed records of collections efforts, payments received, and patient interactions to support audit readiness and reporting needs MIPS Coordinator prepare and process invoices, statements and insurance payment posting Support overall office operations and team communication Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing, collections E-Clinical Works experience preferred Strong knowledge of medical coding including medical terminology Familiarity with medical office procedures, insurance verification, and patient account management Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for accurate data entry and record keeping Excellent communication skills to explain billing processes clearly and handle patient inquiries professionally Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
