Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team at South County Physical Therapy, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing processes and ensuring accurate coding of medical records. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Process and submit medical billing claims accurately and timely. Review and verify patient information and insurance coverage. Utilize ICD-10 coding and other medical coding systems to ensure correct billing. Maintain organized medical records and documentation for audits. Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and resolve discrepancies. Assist with medical collections as necessary to ensure timely payment. Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting with a focus on billing and coding. Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding systems, including ICD-10. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
