Job Description

Medical Biller- Please do not call the office. This job requires experience. The pay is based on insurance knowledge and billing experience for DME billing. Insurance billing, in general is a plus, but please note that the high end of salary range is only offered to those with the two years of experience in claiming out to insurances. If you have neither one, you may be considered, but at the lower end of the job posting. Infinite Technologies Orthotics and Prosthetics is the premier orthotic prosthetic center providing inpatient and outpatient orthotic and prosthetic services, consults and evaluations for adult and pediatric patients in Virginia, DC and Maryland. Through the facilitation of comprehensive care, education and goal setting we forge lifelong partnerships with our patients in their efforts to heal while introducing them to the most innovative technologies for their individualized treatment. Job Requirements At least 2+ years of medical billing experience Encouraged to be knowledgeable in the following aspects of medical office operations: coding and collections, and medical records maintenance Must also be flexible and able to function well in a fast-paced team environment Verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail is a must Leadership skills and fast decision making skills are extremely important Willing to learn new concepts quickly Must have superior customer service skills Job duties: Billing, financial counseling, medical records, collections, data entry and processing, and cash posting Maintaining patient charts, following compliance, insurance knowledge and learning policies Light Receptionist Duties Additional tasks as assigned
