Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE
To prepare and maintain the court docket by compiling information, organizing files and reviewing and verifying information for the Little Rock District Court, Traffic Division; to answer questions and provide information regarding the Little Rock District Court, Traffic Division policies, procedures, and operational functions. This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. For a complete list of essential job functions, please click HERE. These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of high school or a vocational technical school, and two (2) years of clerical-administrative experience or related area; and one (1) year of computer experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
Must possess certification as a Court Clerk within three (3) years of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position. Must possess Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC)/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Level 1 certification within one (1) month of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position. Prior to any exposure to criminal justice information must obtain Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) security and privacy certification and maintain the certification for the duration of employment in this position.
