JUDICIAL CALL CENTER GENERALIST - BISBEE CLASSIFIED

$23.04 to $25.00 hourly dependent upon qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package to include membership in the Arizona State Retirement SystemPLEASE NOTE

: Under general supervision performs a variety of customer service, quality assurance, administrative, and clerical support for Cochise County Superior Court and the Clerk of the Superior Court primarily via telephone. Positions at this level are assigned to have considerable public contact primarily on the telephone responding to customer inquiries. Positions at this level are assigned to perform advanced clerical and record-keeping duties. (Illustrative Only) Perform customer service functions primarily by telephone and occasionally in person; provide information and/or assistance regarding court hearings, court procedures, fees, case status/disposition, distribute forms; respond to and research routine questions or complaints; review court or case files for accuracy and completeness to determine next appropriate action; receive and process payments; update databases to reflect payment; issue receipts; balance payment receipts; and prepare daily cash out; establish payment arrangements according to Clerk of the Superior Court policy and procedures; provide customers with available options and/or resources according to court policies and procedures based on case type; perform a quality check on each case for each call received correcting any issues; guide customers to the court's website to use available online resources; conduct a review and analysis of NOIDS in the case management system; post court calendars on the court's website and docket calendar displays; ensure the court's electronic record is accurate using available reports; monitor all customer service emails received by the court. High school diploma or GED equivalent, and three (3) years progressively responsible experience in a court setting or progressively responsible administrative work experience; OR knowledge of court processes, document review, and/or knowledge. Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License and the ability to be covered by county insurance. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be considered.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
: Preference may be given to individuals who read, write, and speak Spanish.Knowledge of:
court organization, structure, operations, rules and procedures; technical legal search engines and resources; basic legal terminology; case management processes and software; office procedures and practices including record keeping; principles and practices of time management, including time constraints and deadlines.Skill in:
producing documents that are well organized using proper sentence construction, punctuation, grammar; providing reports and analyses regarding project objectives and progress.Ability to:
problem solve; organize assignments, follow priorities, and meet deadlines; research facts, analyze, and identify resolutions to issues; maintain confidentiality of court-related information; work effectively individually or in a team environment; communicate effectively and successfully with customers of varying skill levels, communication styles, and personality types.WORK ENVIRONMENT
: Work is primarily performed under general supervision. Incumbent generally performs work in a typical office setting with appropriate climate controls.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
: Essential functions of this position require: lifting, manual dexterity, ability to communicate.Light Work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force; frequently lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds requires a good deal of walking, standing or involves sitting most of the time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.Mental Application:
Utilizes memory for details and verbal instructions, requires emotional stability, critical thinking, adaptability and creative problem-solving skills.
