About us Jaurigue Law Group is a small business in Glendale, CA 91202. We are social and collaborative.
Our work environment includes:
On-the-job training In Office onlyRESPONSIBILITIES
Court calendaring and docketing of dates and deadlines, including law and motion deadlines, using CompuLaw and Outlook (CA Federal and State) Daily management and upkeep of firm's Active Case List, including weekly and monthly audits Calendaring internal deadlines provided by attorneys Scheduling and noticing depositions Scheduling and managing firm calendar Searching and checking public records Collecting, retrieving, and analyzing information Organizing and tracking employee records and all case documents within JLG's documents management system, NetDocuments Organizing and reporting on case data in large quantity Assisting attorneys with trial preparation Sending weekly reporting to attorneys of their upcoming deadlines and events using CompuLaw Handling all incoming and outgoing mail, tracking certified mail and return receipts, and processing and distribution of mailQUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 year of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, calendaring clerk, docketing clerk, or legal secretary in civil litigation preferred Knowledge of State and Federal court procedures (including contact with Court clerks and staff) required Knowledge of Federal Court ECF e-filings required Knowledge of State Court filings (including electronic filings) required Familiarity with electronic service (with vendors such as ACE Legal, OneLegal, and County Legal) preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google sheets, and Microsoft Word required Knowledge of firm's management softwares will be helpful (CompuLaw, Clio, NetDocuments)SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES
