Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Must have a COTA License) Healthcare Rehabilitation Center - 4.5 Aurora, CO Job Details Full-time $38 - $45 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications Occupational Therapy Assistant License Writing skills COTA Full Job Description Our family owned and operated long term care facilitator is seeking a compassionate and well versed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to add to our inhouse therapy team for our midsize facility situated in Northern Colorado, amongst Larimer County. This building is home to a diverse group of long-term residents, cared for by seasoned staff with low staffing ratios, who are stewarded by a well-equipped clinical team and Administrator with years of experience in the geriatric field. What Sets Us Apart We are an in-house, close-knit therapy team who addresses patient needs and collaborates well with our IDT. Our team has a family feel and all members are appreciated, seen, and heard.

Responsibilities:
Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines Record treatments given and progress notes in medical record Assist in maintaining department Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans. Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility Record treatment charges per the facility policy and procedures Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program
Experience/Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Exhibits a sincere desire to help patients and residents in their rehabilitation process Superior interpersonal communication skills Strong writing skills required for documentation of the care you provide Exhibits knowledge and understanding of therapy practice Possesses and conveys high degree of credibility and integrity Enjoys team cohesion, is a team player, has a positive attitude and a strong desire to make a constructive impact on organizational excellence Understands and accepts the unpredictable nature and needs of the therapy function in a busy rehab department
