Tennis Shop Attendant Responsibilities:

Greets members, guests with a smile, and takes care of their needs Opens and closes Franklin Creek Complex shop as scheduled Folds towels throughout shift for use by membership and guests Registers members and guests for appropriate guest, ball machine, and rental fees Ensures maintenance and availability of ball machine Prepares short court reports for maintenance staff for all court sports facilities Answers shop telephone and answers questions Prepares detailed messages for court sports staff members Promotes and registers members for court sports tournaments Enters quarterly court reservations sheets and contract times for all court sports facilities Assists with receiving, ticketing, and displaying of merchandise Maintains neat, clean, and attractive pro-shop and merchandise displays Assists members and guests with merchandise to increase shop sales Assists with merchandise inventories Complies with departmental and Club appearance standards Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures Works variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and/or holidays Performs all other duties as assigned

Tennis Shop Attendant Qualifications:

Prior retail, customer service, or tennis/court-sport experience preferred Basic computer skills for scheduling, POS systems, and inventory tracking Basic knowledge of tennis or other court sports is a plus

Tennis Shop Attendant Critical Skills:

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to upsell products and programs effectively Organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain attractive displays Attention to detail for scheduling court reservations accurately Positive, professional attitude and ability to work in a team
