Job Description
Assistant Regional Manager Location:
Sellersburg IN Primary Focus and Responsibilities The Assistant Regional Manager, Service oversees all administrative aspects of the service department, ensuring efficient operations, high‑quality repairs, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a consistent commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence Operational Management Assist with day‑to‑day service operations, including scheduling, shop workflow, and timecard management Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of work orders and service records Assist and develop new processes and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability Ensure proper implementation and use of company processes and procedures Lead and pursue department targets and goals based on data and forecasting Coordinate and dispatch CDL fleet to feed shop repairs and generate additional revenue Team Leadership Help recruit, train, and develop service technicians and support staff Assist with performance evaluations, provide coaching, and enforce company policies and standards Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with all OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment that promotes best practices Ensure and log proper fleet maintenance for safe and dependable vehicles Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required; technical school, associate degree, or equivalent industry training preferred 5+ years of experience in tractor‑trailer or heavy‑duty truck repair and service operation s Prior P&L responsibility A track record of successfully directing day-to-day operations and delivering world-class customer service.Physical Requirements:
