OMV license & Title Clerk PTA

About us Express OMV is a Public Tag Agent in the State of Louisiana. We processe license renewals and duplicates, vehicle title transfers, and record clearances involving missed paid tickets and insurance lapses. The company has 18 locations spread throughout the state with over a decade history of operations. The position we are looking to fill and train is a full time position with the hours of 7:45 am to ~ 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

• A background check must be passed in order to be able to work with our company.

The job is mainly computer data entry, going over driving records with customers, and processing & collecting taxable transaction quickly and accurately. It is high paced work environment and all obstacles are tackled as a team each and every day.

• We are seeking a detail-oriented crew member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have past experience with cash handling, an ability to follow strict policy and procedures outlined by state guidelines, and communicate in a respectful & efficient manner to our public clients each and every day.
• Responsibilities
• Conduct title searches and examine title documents
• Prepare and review data associated with obtaining motor vehicle licenses and identification cards
• Coordinate with various state agencies involved in state driver history and titling
• Assist in resolving any title issues that may arise during the transaction process
• Maintain accurate records of all title-related & licensing documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the process
• Experience
• Prior experience in OMV work or title work is not necessary, we will train the right candidate!
• Familiarity with computers and and ability to type efficiently is a plus
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in cash handling
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
