Job Description:
Client Overview Our client is a realty operations group seeking a Residential Legal Representative (Lease Enforcement) to support the Lease Enforcement team. The role involves acting as a liaison between property management, tenants, and outside counsel, primarily handling housing court matters and lease enforcement actions. Salary/Hourly Rate $24/hr Position Overview This position supports lease enforcement efforts by managing tenant communications, coordinating legal actions, and representing the landlord in housing and small claims court. The role requires close collaboration with outside counsel and property management to ensure compliance with court orders and lease agreements. Responsibilities Of The Residential Legal Representative (Lease Enforcement) Respond to tenant inquiries and process rent payments. Review arrears reports and initiate legal actions. Coordinate evictions, including scheduling marshals and movers. Track and follow up on warrants, stipulations, and court deadlines. Communicate daily with outside counsel on housing court cases. Prepare case files and represent the landlord in Housing/Small Claims Court. Maintain accurate records in property management software. Notify property management of violations and required repairs tied to court cases. Monitor compliance with court stipulations and payment agreements. Prepare audits and legal documentation. Notarize documents as needed. Required Experience/Skills For The Residential Legal Representative (Lease Enforcement) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). Experience with property management software is a plus. Must obtain Notary Public license within 6 months. Preferred Experience/Skills For The Residential Legal Representative (Lease Enforcement) Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property management systems.
