May 18, 2026 Deputy Clerk I for Clerk of Circuit Court Greensville County is accepting applications for an opening in its Clerk of Circuit Court office. The Greensville County Deputy Clerk I performs responsible clerical work, greeting the public and performing a variety of office assistance tasks; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision. Recording deeds, plats and other instruments, indexing and scanning instruments after recording, issuing concealed weapon permits, indexing and scanning oaths as taken, printing and maintaining the jury list, working with Defendant's on payment agreements, receipting payments, issuing marriage licenses as needed, assisting the public as needed, research information in the record room, back-up for civil, criminal, and estates as needed and any other work assigned by the Clerk.

Education and Experience:

Graduation from high school or GED and two (2) years of experience in general office assistance.

None.

Starting Salary $45,687
