Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a Business Office Supervisor to join our patient-focused team!Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Business Office Supervisor to lead our Patient Coordinators (Front Desk Registration) and Medical Records teams. This role will work closely with the Business Office Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient front-end operations, maintaining compliance standards, and fostering a positive, high-performing team environment in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This position oversees team members across four outpatient center locations (Huntsville, Madison, Athens, and Decatur) and requires flexibility and regular travel between sites.Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead Patient Coordinators and Medical Records staff Coach employees and address performance or behavioral issues Maintain accountability while supporting team morale Train and onboard new team members Oversee patient registration processes Ensure accurate insurance verification and demographic information Manage high patient volumes in a fast-paced environment Prioritize and handle multiple requests effectively Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Oversee medical records release procedures Provide strong customer service and handle escalations This role offers full benefits, along with a competitive compensation package that includes base pay, and a comprehensive program designed to support your health, well-being, and future: Quarterly Bonus Program Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Health Insurance including medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage withFSA & HSA

EDUCATION
To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)SKILLS/ABILITIES
Experience supervising or leading a team Strong coaching and communication skills Experience with patient registration, insurance verification, and medical records Knowledge of HIPAA compliance Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to travel regularly between multiple locations Radiology workflow experience is a plus ODC of Alabama offers a full range of diagnostic and screening radiology services.
