Job Description

Office Manager - Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, organized, and positive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and support our team. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), adaptable to change, and able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels. A creative mindset, strong organizational skills, and a calm, problem-solving attitude are essential.
Work Schedule Preferred start time:
6:30 AM or 7:00
AM Schedule:
Monday through Friday Key Responsibilities, Administrative, & Office Management Manage daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office space Handle incoming calls, emails, and text communications from employees, managers, and supervisors Maintain employee files and ensure records are up to date Attend weekly or bi-weekly safety meetings to support the team and answer questions Data Entry & Reporting Enter invoices into company systems accurately and efficiently Maintain and manage multiple spreadsheets simultaneously Document truck tonnage and other operational data Prepare and manage payroll spreadsheets, including tracking accurate hours and necessary information for payroll processing Technology Support Assist team members who need help with Microsoft Office tools, including spreadsheets and email Ensure proper organization and use of company software systems Provide basic troubleshooting and support for office technology Communication & Coordination Communicate clearly and effectively with team members Work collaboratively with staff across various departments Adapt quickly to changes and shifting priorities Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when dealing with different personalities QualificationsRequired Skills & Abilities Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) Computer literate with the ability to learn new systems quickly Ability to manage multiple tasks and spreadsheets at once Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic math skills Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle constant change Personal Qualities Bright, positive, and professional personality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Well-groomed with good hygiene and professional office-casual appearance Clean, organized, and detail-oriented Team player who is willing to assist others Preferred Qualifications Previous office management or administrative experience (preferred but not required) Experience handling payroll data and invoicing systems Microsoft Software Work Expectations Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct at all times Keep the office clean and organized regularly Be available to support staff and management as needed Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
From $21.00 per hour
