Job Description

Job Overview We are a small, local specialty contracting company seeking a reliable Office Administrator to join our team. This role will focus on supporting field staff and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess great communication skills, be comfortable in a dynamic environment and will have light accounting experience. Responsibilities Handle multi-line phone systems and assist customers with a wide variety of issues Handle light accounting duties, such as daily billing and occasional collection calls Use software tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for document creation, scheduling, bookkeeping, and record keeping Support field staff by maintaining a daily schedule and providing remote assistance Manage multiple streams of email correspondence with customers and vendors Work with vendors to obtain critical inventory to maintain project schedules Perform general office management duties including filing, records management, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining a clean workspace Qualifications Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred Excellent communication skills Strong computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new software quickly Previous clerical or administrative experience Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in a contracting environment is helpful •Due to the nature of our work, the ability to pass a background check is required.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
