The pay range for this salaried position is $25-$35/hr., depending on experience and qualifications. Prior billing experience in nursing home or hospital preferred.
JOB PURPOSE
The Assistant Business Office Manager is primarily responsible for assisting with directing and coordinating functions and activities of the business office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Direct and coordinate function and activities of the business office. Maintains and reconciles census daily and monthly in PCC software. Submits claims to various payer types in compliance with state and federal regulations. Records cash receipts and deposits daily. Participates in daily/weekly/monthly triple check process for HMO and Medicare resident claims. Mails monthly private statements. Provides oversight of Resident Trust account per regulations. Provides each resident with a quarterly accounting of funds managed by the facility. Monitor and collect Accounts Receivables.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Possible business office assistant.
TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIES
Required to attend monthly AR meetings at the Brea office.
QUALIFICATIONS

Must have 2+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility Experience in Accounts Receivable with knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. Language Skills Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and communicate with a team. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
