Compensation:
$20.00 - $22.00 / hour (Depending on experience) About Us We are a fast-paced small construction company based in South Corona. We pride ourselves on quality work and a collaborative team environment. We are looking for an organized, reliable, and sharp Office Assistant / Bookkeeper to keep our administrative operations running smoothly for the next six months. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, payables, and general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a construction office environment. You must be highly proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus!
Key Responsibilities Financial Support:
Handle accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), enter vendor invoices, track project expenses, and reconcile bank statements using QuickBooks .
Administrative Operations:
Manage daily office tasks, including answering phones, routing emails, sorting mail, and maintaining digital and physical filing systems.
Project Documentation:
Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to prepare construction bids, change orders, contracts, and weekly reports.
Communication:
Serve as a friendly point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Assist with translating/communicating project details to Spanish-speaking crew members or subcontractors if applicable.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
2+ years of experience in office administration or basic bookkeeping (experience working in the construction industry is preferred but not required).
Software Proficiency:
Must be highly proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Spanish language proficiency is a strong plus.
Local:
Ability to reliably commute to our office in South Corona daily.
