Business Office Manager Make a Difference Every Day at Brightwater Senior Living Are you an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a people-centered environment? What You'll Be Doing As the Business Office Manager, you'll be the hub of daily business operations—overseeing accounting functions, guiding frontline staff, and supporting our vibrant community. This role offers a dynamic mix of financial management, team leadership, and meaningful contribution.
Core Responsibilities:
Accounting & Payroll Manage accounts receivable and payable, including resident billing, vendor payments, and monthly reconciliations. Oversee payroll processing—from onboarding new employees to verifying and approving timecards. Handle community deposits, resident service adjustments, and credit card reconciliation. Team Leadership Supervise the Receptionist and Bus Driver, ensuring front desk operations are warm, professional, and efficient. Create work schedules and provide leadership that fosters a positive and respectful work environment. Administrative & Compliance Support Maintain strict confidentiality of resident and employee information. Support training and onboarding for new staff to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Oversee front desk operations including call handling, visitor assistance, and community communication systems. Sales & Marketing Assistance Assist with tours for prospective residents when needed. Ensure marketing materials and availability updates are current and accessible at the front desk. Support the entry of prospective leads into the marketing database. What We're Looking For 2+ years of accounting experience in accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. A high level of integrity , discretion, and professionalism. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
