Job Description

Office Administrator - MJ Nursing Assistant Training Institute MJ Nursing Assistant Training Institute, a growing CNA school in Merced, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our fast-paced team. This role is crucial to the smooth daily operations of our school and requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and technical skills.
Qualifications:
Medical Background Preferred, Not Required.
Typing Proficiency:
Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM required.
Exceptional Organizational Skills:
Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision. Attention to
Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail is essential for accuracy in record-keeping, student information management, and other critical tasks.
Tech Savvy:
Extensive experience with a wide range of computer programs is a must, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), QuickBooks Online, Canvas (or similar Learning Management System), and Zoom. Comfort and adaptability with new software and online platforms are essential.
Student-Focused:
A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to assist students and address their concerns is vital.
Proactive and Solution-Oriented:
Ability to anticipate needs, identify potential problems, and implement effective solutions. A proactive approach to managing projects and demands, ensuring timely follow-through, is crucial.
Excellent Communication Skills:
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Must be able to promptly report new and important information or updates to the Office Manager.
Adaptability:
Must be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
Record Keeping and Data Management:
Experience in maintaining accurate records, managing data, and ensuring confidentiality.
Professionalism:
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and other staff members. Manage student records, including enrollment information, attendance, and grades. Process applications and assist with student onboarding. Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries appropriately. Manage office supplies and inventory. Coordinate meetings and appointments. Assist with marketing and outreach efforts. Maintain a clean and organized office environment. Assist with special projects as needed.
