Job Description:
Office Manager ? South San Francisco, CA (Onsite) ? $80,000 - $100,000 + Bonus (historically $8K-$10K) ? Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM About the Role We are seeking a reliable and proactive Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative operations for our South San Francisco office. This role is critical to maintaining a smooth, organized, and efficient workplace, supporting both office and field teams. This position is open due to a planned transition, with a 10-week overlap to ensure thorough training and knowledge transfer from the current Office Manager. Team & Reporting Structure Reports directly to Marty Oversees 4 office staff Supports 11 field staff Works closely with AR personnel and administrative team Key Responsibilities Manage daily office operations and administrative workflows Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes Perform bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, and payroll Handle prevailing wage administration (basic level) Support HR functions , including employee documentation and coordination Process insurance certificates Supervise front office activity, including phone coverage (3 staff members) Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with company standards What We're Looking For Prior experience in office management, accounting, or administrative leadership Background in construction or a related industry strongly preferred Open to candidates from other fast-paced industries (e.g., food service) with strong operational experience Working knowledge of AR/AP, payroll, and bookkeeping Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with field teams High level of trustworthiness, reliability, and accountability Proactive mindset with the ability to identify gaps and implement improvements Comfortable working fully onsite Why Join Us?
