Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Direct supervision of clerical unit personnel. Assign duties and monitor completion. Provide Training. Interview clerical applicants and assist in selection of new clerical employees. Conduct clerical meetings and clerical attendance reporting. Review subordinate tasks for accuracy and completeness. Perform typing assignments, daily auditing and change fund, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Work on special projects assigned by the Area Commander. Oversee suspense system and adherence to due dates. Maintain confidential files, personnel records, and transfer records. Maintains OSHA log, limited / off duty logs, vehicle accident log, non-uniformed overtime log, transfer log, cashier's log. Complete CHP 71's for non-uniformed and Area Commander. Complete attendance reporting and submits to Personnel Service Section, monthly. Prepares correspondence of a sensitive and confidential nature for the Area Commander. Acts as Health Benefits Insurance Clerk and provides the necessary information and forms relating to health benefits. Cal-Card Coordinator. You will find additional information about the job in the .
