Position Overview:
As Business Office Manager, your main task is to assist in billing Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care insurance, private, and other payer types. Will be responsible for billing, follow up, and appealing various claims to ensure payment is received. The candidate must be results-focused and detail-oriented. Must work well with residents and families as well as co-workers. Must be able to meet billing deadlines and follow a calendar to ensure that other deadlines are met. Everything that is serviced in the patients is collected Make sure no pending bills, no aging collections Executing, Review, & Process Payments Retrieve Authorization and process refunds Write off, collections, and postings of funds received for service rendered LTC- MediCal, Medicare / Medicaid Educate patients and families on insurance Proficient with PCC -
Point Click Care, Excel, Quickbooks Education:
College degree preferred with emphasis in accounting or business-related.
Qualifications:
Must have a year of BOM experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), with a specific focus on collections and outstanding receivables Must have prior experience with Medicaid and Medicare billing and collections. You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done. Point Click Care (PCC) billing system experience is preferred. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal; and be able to problem solve.
